Aloha Pilgrims,
Something that I would like to share about Joaquin If I was at his graduation.
You know, when I married Joaquin, there was such an anointing that I had to step back a bit from between those guys or I could not have made it through the wedding. And I carry around this really profound story of some of Joaquin's testing after he became a Christian. He told me this story of living at the 23 Psalms with 6+ other brothers. He was the only one working so when he got paid, he bought groceries for the house like a good saint should. The only thing he bought especially for himself personally was some Oreo Cookies and even then he bought a bag for himself and one for the brothers. When he got to the shack the brothers were all there. Joaquin really had to go so he put the groceries on the table and ran for the privy. When he got back the (none-working) brothers had eaten up all of both bags of Oreo's. He told me that was a powerful test for his new faith, Jesus or Cookies and he really loved Oreo's. I was really proud of him in that Jesus had won the day.... I will miss Joaquin greatly but I know he is in good hands. Love to you all, Ken

He was a gentle heart. I am sorry to hear he left us.
